 Welcome!
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chrissy Schumann. I am the middle school ELA teacher at LeRoy-Ostrander Public School. I have lived in the area my entire life. I graduated from Grand Meadow Public School in 1996. I attended Winona State University and graduated with my BS in Elementary Education in 2000. The 2020-2021 school year will be my sixth year teaching in LeRoy! I am also one of the student council advisors, Drama coach, LOEA President and Junior class advisor. One of my favorite things during the school year is dress up days! I am proud to teach in L-O because of the great staff and students. I love being able to teach and raise my children in our small town environment.
My husband, Gabe and I live outside of Racine, MN with our four children, Dane (17), Halen (16), Holly (13) and Hudson (6). We also have 3 dogs and 3 cats. My favorite pastime is sitting down with a good book or sleeping. I love air-conditioning and blankets; mountain dew and Reese's peanut butter cups and l I can't wait to share this passion of mine with my students!
